Funding Available

Successful completion

A Statement of Attainment is issued to participants who successfully complete all the required assessment tasks, have paid in full and have supplied all required supporting documentation.

Course Validity and Refreshers 

The Australian Standard AS2865-2009 recommends the renewal of your Enter and Work in Confined Spaces statement of attainment every two years. A shorter period may be required where industry/company requirements are applicable. Individuals can refresh their competencies anytime within the two-year period in line with these industry/company-specific requirements. 

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling.

If you have any concerns regarding the literacy or numeracy requirements, please contact student.services@civilsafety.edu.au for advice.To qualify for our this Refresher Course, students are required to provide a notarised copy of their existing equivalent ‘Enter and Work in Confined Spaces’ qualification/ statement of attainment.

  • We supply all equipment necessary for you to undertake training including harnesses etc.
  • We encourage you to bring along your own equipment
