The G2 Carry Out the Risk Management Process (RIIRIS402E) face-to-face refresher course is designed for individuals who have previously completed risk training and want to keep their skills up-to-date and maintain compliance.
You’ll learn how to:
Apply risk management processes in line with organisational procedures and legislative requirements
Facilitate effective consultation and communication with teams regarding hazards and controls
Review and evaluate existing risk management plans and site-specific procedures
Identify emerging risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for risk assessments and control measures
Course Delivery and Assessment
This refresher course is delivered face-to-face over 1 full day.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a controlled environment, building both confidence and competence while receiving direct guidance and personalised feedback from experienced trainers throughout the day.
Assessment is competency-based and ensures you can apply safe work practices with confidence. It includes:

The following entry requirements apply to this course:
Previously completed a full G2 Carry Out the Risk Management Process (RIIRIS402E) unit, which is less than 5 years old.

sufficient language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills to complete assessments, and;
A valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) - mandatory for all nationally recognised training. If you don't already have a USI, you can apply for one online at www.usi.gov.au or we can apply for one for you.
